My Story

Hello, and Welcome to Motley Fool Review! This site is for people who want to know the truth about the Motley Fool. You see their marketing everywhere, you have heard mixed reviews. For every person who credits them with helping set them on the road to a secure financial future, there’s another person who accuses them of being a scam. And all you really want is someone whom you can trust to give you some decent investing advice. You’re tired of the run around. Trust me, I get it. So whether you already subscribe to one of the Motley Fool investing newsletters or you are deciding whether to invest your hard-earned money (and time!) by subscribing, this site is here to try to give you the honest and objective information you need.

I started this site to help other investors with a specific focus on the Motley Fool. And I’m trying to give people the information they need. Understand before you invest. That’s my mantra for this site, and investing in general.

My site is small but growing. I’m trying to grow a community here. If you’d like to be a part of it, one thing you can do is visit the home page and sign up to get all my updates emailed to you as soon as I post them. Or follow me on Twitter @MotleyFoolRview

Me and the Motley Fool

I’m a long time Motley Fool member myself. But that’s it. I’m in no way affiliated with the Motley Fool otherwise. I’m just an individual investor with a passion for business, investing, and helping others to learn to love these topics too.

One thing I want to make clear: although I provide performance stats that are not readily available to non-subscribers, and will discuss various aspects of the Motley Fool services, I do not intend to ever reveal any specific investments or trades recommended by their subscription services. Although some other sites out there will share that info, I want to be fair to the Motley Fool and their paying membership (of which I am one!)

The Fine Print

I do not receive any compensation or other considerations from the Motley Fool for any of the content on the Motley Fool Review website, nor when/if you were to sign up for any of their services. For the sake of full disclosure, some of the links on this site are Amazon affiliate links, and if you purchase one of those products, I receive a minimal percentage of the purchase price as a commission. And you’ll notice the site is ad-supported as well. Together it helps me recoup the cost of web development and hosting this site (via Bluehost, if you are interested in setting up your own website).
